Maggie Valley, NC – Ghost Town In The Sky’s entertainment crew is traveling together this weekend to volunteer for UNC-TV’s pledge drive located in Research Triangle Park.  They will be dressed in their Wild West attire while answering the phones live on Saturday night from 6:30pm – 11pm and Sunday from 10:30am – 3pm.

Ghost Town’s entourage of gunfighters, saloon girls and even the Ghost Town Marshall are volunteering their time to help support public television, something that’s been entertaining families for decades.  “We kinda have that in common,” explains John Buccafusco, Ghost Town’s Director of Entertainment. “We’ve also been performing to multiple generations of families, and we can appreciate what UNC-TV provides the entire state of North Carolina.  We think that it will be a thrill for the UNC-TV viewers to enjoy seeing some of their favorite western characters on the TV screen.”
