School Rewards Programs
Ghost town in the Sky is proud to present The Buck-A-Roo Award, these certificates can be used to reward students for: honor roll, citizenship, reading, perfect attendance or any special achievement that should be recognized by your school. This program is design to give your school rewards for your students that achieve specific educational goals. When ordering your cards please keep in mind that this program is designed to recognize individual efforts. No groups please! To receive your certificates please fill out the following order form completely and fax back to (828) 926-2693 or mail to: Ghost Town in the Sky, Attn: David King, Buckaroo Program, PO Box 369, Maggie Valley NC 28751. CHRISTMAS WITH A COWBOY FOUNDATION
Ghost Town in the Sky takes pride in being a committed member of the Western North Carolina and Haywood County community. Our Christmas with a Cowboy Foundation is one example of our commitment. The foundation’s primary goal is to assist local charitable organizations in providing resources for youth in the Western North Carolina community whom are seriously ill, disabled and/or disadvantaged.
Mission:
Christmas with a Cowboy Foundation, Inc. is working to better the lives of children and their families around Western North Carolina. By creating and supporting programs that directly improve the well-being and happiness of children.
Purpose:
Christmas with a Cowboy Foundation, Inc. serves as the charitable arm of Ghost Town in the Sky, LLC. The Foundation will provide tickets to schools, organizations, groups and charitable organizations throughout Western North Carolina for children whom are less fortunate and otherwise would not have the opportunity to experience Ghost Town in the Sky. The Foundation will also host fundraising events to generate nominal donations and toys in partnership with local charitable organizations.
Who Can Donate:
Christmas with a Cowboy Foundation, Inc. accepts donations from individuals, businesses and/or organizations whom have similar visions for improving the quality of life for the children in Western North Carolina.
How to Donate: Christmas with a Cowboy Foundation, Inc. is hosting the Care Bears to celebrate “Christmas in July.” On July 21st, 2007, guests of Ghost Town in the Sky who bring a new toy in support of the Foundation will receive a $4.00 discount on their admission to the park. The Foundation is offering donation boxes to local businesses throughout Western North Carolina for those who would like to contribute to the “Christmas in July” program. And, all donations received at Ghost Town in the Sky’s Frontier Church during services and/or wedding ceremonies will be used in support of the Foundation’s programs.
Groups Christmas with a Cowboy will Support:
Haywood Foster Program, Local Children’s hospitals, Make-A-Wish, Compassion Children’s foundation and many more

Donations
We receive many requests every day for donations and try to accommodate as many of them as possible. Unfortunately, we are unable to fulfill requests for monetary donations and sponsorships. Below are some guidelines that we ask for you to follow to help us complete you donation request in a timely manner.
- Please submit all donation requests at least two weeks in advance.
- We ask that all donation requests be on an official letterhead from the organization making the request. The letter should include the type of event, how the donation is to be used, date of the event, estimated number of attendees for event, and full contact information.
- The type of donation is at the discretion of Ghost Town.
- Ghost Town prefers that donations are picked up by the requesting organization to ensure that they are there in a timely manner. A park representative will contact the contact person when the donation is available.
